Kabugho Joviah
Joviah joined A4CY-U in June 2020. She’s the Executive Director, leading a team of 11 full time staff. She supports and provides leadership in the development and successful implementation of organisational plans and programs for achieving the objectives of A4CY-U in accordance with the direction, priorities and policies established by the Board.
Before joining A4CY-U, Joviah worked with Action for Community Development (ACODEV), Foundation for Urban and Rural Advancement (FURA) and Karambi Action for Life Improvement (KALI). She has 10 years’ experience in community development, program and institutional management. She holds a Bachelor of Adult and Community Education of Makerere University and a certificate in Administrative Law of Law Development Centre.
Joviah is firmly committed to improving and touching the lives of the most vulnerable Women, Children and Communities, through initiating, planning and monitoring Empowerment and skills development programs in Kasese District and the entire Rwenzori region.
Muhindo Joseph
Position: Head of Programs
Joseph Heads programs at Alliance for Children and Youth Uganda the position he has hold since 2018, he provides leadership, strategic project development and management of the Alliance for Children and Youth Uganda programs through the 5 core values of: Transparency, Voluntary service, Innovation, Gender and Cultural-sensitivity and Advocacy he as well supervises day to day implementation of activities and reports to the Executive Director. Before promotion to HOP he worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in the some Organization
Joseph holds a bachelor Degree in Demography and Reproductive Health from Kyambogo University, Certificate in monitoring and Evaluation, He has also attended several trainings in management, guidance and counselling, sexuality and reproductive health, gender based violence among others.
Before joining Alliance team Joseph worked with Save the Children as data entrant and rapporteur, Baylor Uganda as data entrant, volunteered ad data Officer Kasese district local government (District Health Office), volunteered at Reproductive Health Uganda Kampala. These previous work places have contributed much to his success in Alliance for Children and Uganda.
NANVUMA SHAMILLA

Gives Technical Advice and Direction to the Management of A4CY-U’s finances, logistics, and human resources. She joined A4CY-U since. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration (Accounting) from Makerere Business School and a Diploma in Business studies from UCC Kabala and a certificate from High Hope Development Foundation in Laws of Life.
Previously, Shamilla worked with Hima Cement in Logistics Department, and at Bishop Mesereka Medical Center currently known Kasese Community Health Education Foundation (KCHEF) as an Accounts assistant.
Musime Immaculate
Position: Front Desk Officer
Immaculate is in charge of office welfare at the A4CY-U. She is a highly dependable person, she is also in charge of office maintenance but also ensures the smooth flow of office activities. Immaculate is always present to serve organization staff with what they need.
Onizi Muhindo
Position: Data Officer
Oniz holds a Diploma in Information Technology of Uganda Pentecostal University (UPU), Fort Portal-Uganda. Certificate in Occupational Safety and Information Security Awareness. He has over three years’ experience in data management specifically; data entry, analysis, archiving and filling, with experience in documentation and a high level of competence in using data management systems.
Amon Isemusobya
Position: Social Worker
Amon is a graduate of Development Studies from Bishop Stuart University, Mbarara, with a passion to working with Children, Youths and caregivers affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. A smile of an Orphan or Vulnerable person is my satisfaction.
Jolly Mbambu
Position: Field Assistant
Jolly is a Professional social worker with Diploma in Public Administration and Management and a certificate in child Protection both from Nsamizi Institute for Social Development, she is a core child rights activist Advocating for inclusion of children with disabilities CWD’s.
