Sowedi Kitanywa-Founder Member. Sowedi Kitanywa is the founder of Alliance for Children and Youth.Masika Ruth-Chairperson She holds a post graduate in PUBLIC Administration and Management of Uganda Management Institute, a Certificate in Administrative Officers Law course of the Law Development Centre KampalaEllen Ithungu Ellen is an Educationalist working with Kasese District Local Government as a Head Teacher Kabuyiri SDA Primary School in Bugoye Sub County. She holds Bachelors in Education from Bugema University. Through her tireless efforts, over 3000 girls in Kasese district particularly in Busongora North, have accessed quality education, counselled them to enroll in school, stay in school and complete school, delay sex and early marriages. She has also acted as a role model and champion to girl child education. She has been A4CY-U Board member since January 2021. MASIKA KINYONYI EVELEENE Eveleen is a dedicated social worker with experience in Community development. She is one of the founder members of Alliance for Children and Youth Uganda. Eveleen has worked with Kasese District Development Network (KADNET), COVIOD, KADIFA AND South Rwenzori Diocese under YAPI- Young and Powerful Innitiative. Eveleen has worked with Kasese District Local Governemnt for 10 years in the Community Based Services Department as a Community Development Officer. Currently, Eveleen is the Town Clerk for Kitswamba Town Council.KABANYORO REBECCA Treasurer. Rebecca is one of the senior female Accountants, Marketing and Procurement specialist in Kasese District, currently working as a Senior Commercial Officer at Kasese District Local Government.Julius Mutoro-He has sat On the Board since 2016. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health sciences of Kabale University, Advanced Diploma in Health services Management of Uganda Martyrs University, and Diploma in Environmental Health Science of school of hygiene-MbaleRev. Nyamusana Annah-Annah is a religious woman and girl rights advocate serving in the South Rwenzori Diocese in Uganda. She’s very passionate about removing societal, cultural and religious barriers to the advancement of the rights of Children, Women and Girls. She oversees the Children’s ministry and ensures No child is Left behind, despite their situation, family background and vulnerabilities. She’s been on the A4CY-U board for the last 2 years.
